Animal Emergency & Treatment Center (AETC) exists to heal
pets, help owners and support referring veterinarians. We are a thoughtful,
dedicated group of individuals with a profound desire to share our gifts
of healing and understanding with companion pets and their families. With the addition of our second practice, AETC now cares for pets in both the far North suburbs (Grayslake) and in the City of Chicago.
We value and act with compassion, kindness, trust, respect, loyalty, dedication, integrity, and accountability. We commit ourselves to acting with respect, honor and dignity toward our patients, clients, colleagues and each other. Teamwork for us is a natural condition, not a buzzword.
Our people have many areas of interests and special expertise, although we do not have “departments.” We have doctors who have achieved board certification in Surgery, Internal Medicine, Critical Care and Emergency, the highest levels of accreditation in our profession. Our certified veterinary technicians (nurses) are experienced and passionate about caring for pets. AETC’s management team fosters our values, mentors our staff, and continually seeks new ways to improve our services.

We offer diagnostic options that are at the pinnacle of our profession, including Computed Tomography (CT), Ultrasound, Endoscopy, Digital Radiography and a comprehensive diagnostic laboratory. Our innovative blood donor program is the only one of its kind in the Chicagoland area.
The human-animal bond is ever-increasing, and we honor that bond in everything we do.
