Veterinary Technician

Responsibilities:

Promote company vision, mission statement and purpose.  Plays a positive and active role in fostering team relationships, leads by example and communicates effectively.  Must be flexible, cooperative, dependable, responsible, and have good time-management skills.  This position requires you to be self motivated and be able to differentiate between major and minor issues as they relate to clients and patients.  Experience is preferred.  Certification is desired but not required. 

Key Functions:

  • triage incoming patients
  • manage clients and patients
  • execute treatment plans
  • assist DVM in assessment, diagnostics and treatment of patients
  • provide nursing care
  • obtain and process lab-work
  • use digital x-ray equipment
  • assist DVM with ultrasound procedures
  • monitor anesthesia and assist DVM in surgery

  • advanced phlebotomy and catheter placement

Customer Care Specialist

Responsibilities:

Promote company vision, mission statement and purpose.  Plays a positive and active role in fostering team relationships, leads by example and communicates effectively.  Must be flexible, cooperative, dependable, responsible, and have good time-management skills.  This position requires you to be self motivated and be able to differentiate between major and minor issues as they relate to clients and patients.  Experience in the customer service industry or previous animal hospital reception experience is preferred.

Key Functions:

  • triage incoming phone calls
  • greeting incoming patiens and clients
  • balance and close the drawer daily
  • scheduling appointments for specialists
  • process client payments
  • fax medical records to referring veterinarians
  • maintain appearance of the reception area

Qualifications:

  • work well under pressure and during high levels of stress

Kennel Support Staff

Responsibilities:

Promote company vision, mission statement and purpose.  Plays a positive and active role in fostering team relationships, leads by example and communicates effectively.  This position requires you to be self motivated.   Experience is preferred but not necessary. 

Key Functions:

  • housekeeping duties
  • various kennel duties
  • maintain appearance of the treatment area
  • maintain appearance of the reception area

Qualifications:

  • High school students must be at least 17 years old
  • work well individually and in a team setting
  • out-going personality
  • dependable and reliable
