PREPARING YOUR PET FOR A PROCEDURE

Surgical or Internal Medicine Consultation:
No food after midnight the night before the procedure. (Pet may have access to fresh water up through morning.)

Ultrasound:

Endoscopy:
No food after midnight the night before the procedure. (Pet may have access to fresh water up through morning.)

CT Scan:
No food after midnight the night before the procedure. (Pet may have access to fresh water up through morning.)

Surgery:

Dr. Kristi Sandman prepares a pet for surgery No food after midnight the night before the procedure. (Pet may have access to fresh water up through morning.)

Donating Blood:
Skip meal prior to donation. (Please see Blood Donation guide for other concerns.)
