Ultrasound: A Noninvasive Tool for Improved Diagnoses
This state-of-the-art technology uses sound waves to examine organs inside the body through a probe placed on the outside skin. Advanced ultrasound technology allows us to obtain a cross-sectional view of each organ. We can examine the heart and major blood vessels, as well as the liver, spleen, kidneys, pancreas, adrenal glands, urinary bladder, prostate gland and other organs. The detail is incredible and allows us to pinpoint problems faster and more accurately, while never invading the body or anesthetizing the patient. Color flow technology also lets us examine the flow of blood as it courses in and out of the heart and blood vessels.

Digital Radiography: Faster, More Accurate Diagnoses
Just as digital cameras revolutionized photography, DR is changing the face of x-ray technology. This new technology offers many exciting benefits:
Faster diagnoses. With traditional x-rays, bulky handling and long developing times meant waiting up to 20 minutes for a study. We can now take a digital x-ray and have a crystal clear image on the screen just a few seconds later!
More accurate diagnoses. As a result of this system’s superior processing and enhanced imaging capabilities, we can enlarge or manipulate images to achieve far better detail than traditional x-rays. Better detail simply makes it easier to see the problem.
Better communication. With better detail, we can provide more information to help pet owners and referring veterinarians better understand a pet’s condition. We can also consult with other specialists around the world simply by sending the digital image via the Internet.
Less risk for pets. The amount of x-ray exposure in digital radiography is generally less than traditional radiography. Plus, the speed of this new system virtually eliminates the problem of animal movement, which previously meant retakes and additional x-ray exposure.
Significant value. With timely results and more accurate information, DR cuts down on retakes, provides better details, and produces more information, all of which translates into a better value.

Endoscopy: Less Invasive, Better Results
Our endoscopy system allows us to view the inside of a pet’s internal organs without any invasive surgery. Because the system uses a digital camera, we can view and capture vivid pictures that lead to better diagnoses. Endoscopy gives us the ability to examine everything from a cat’s nose to a Great Dane’s stomach. We can perform numerous procedures faster and more accurately, including:

• Examining nasal passages for infection, foreign objects, tumors and other diseases. We can detect and correct these problems as well as perform other diagnostic and treatment procedures.
• Looking inside a pet’s bladder for the presence of bladder stones, inflammatory conditions and bladder cancer.
• Studying the airways for lung infections, various cancers and other health threats.
